"Beachfront" is one of the least reliable words in vacation rental listings. It can mean sand outside your door, or it can mean a shuttle, a road crossing, and a set of stairs. Since the distance is the whole point, here's ours, plainly.
The actual walk
The photo above is the patio. That little sign pointing to the beach isn't aspirational — the water is right there, past the palms you can see over the rail. It's a walk you make barefoot, carrying a towel and nothing else, without thinking about it.
That matters more than it sounds like it should. When the beach is a project — pack the car, find parking, haul chairs — you go once a day and stay for four hours whether you're enjoying it or not. When it's thirty seconds away, you swim before coffee, again before lunch, and once more at five when the light goes gold. The vacation stops being scheduled.
What the patio ends up being
Most guests tell us they used the patio more than any room inside. It's where breakfast happens, where wet swimsuits dry, where somebody reads while somebody else naps. The trades come through in the afternoon and do the work an air conditioner would otherwise do.

The east end trade-off, honestly
Sapphire is on the east end, which means you're twenty-five minutes or so from the airport and away from the cruise-ship crush of downtown. If you want walkable nightlife and shopping out your door, this isn't that. If you want to swim before anyone else is awake, it is exactly that.
